Rachel - Business Owner and Lead Therapist
I I’m Rachel, Mum to 6 incredible children and wife of Carl. When I’m not busy being a mum and wife, I’m very passionate about supporting people with their mental health
My specialism is working with children and young people although I am qualified and experienced to work with anyone who needs me. I believe that no one should ever have to wait to be supported and although I don’t have a magic wand, I like to think that my energy and drive for change comes with a magic touch.
Our award-winning approach focuses on ‘ Inspiring Change’ and I am extremely proud of the incredible brand I have created.
Alongside my counselling qualifications, I have trained with a number of large organisations covering subjects such as Suicide, The Inner Critical Voice, Shame and Baby Loss. Other qualifications include a HND in Theatre in Education, HND in Advanced Professional practice Working with Children and Families and I am a qualified Playworker with a Level 1-Teaching Certificate. I also hold CACHE level 2 certificates in Adverse Childhood Experiences and Behaviour That Challenges
I spent a number of years designing and delivering training for the UK’s largest Tour operator, recruiting nannies and children’s reps to work all over the world, and although I am happy to work with anyone who needs my support, my focus tends to return to children and young people.
I take great pride in my work and I’m very passionate about what I do. I was awarded the Sally Canning Coaching and Mentoring award in 2024 and went on to be recognised at the 2025 Notts Women’s Business Awards for Community Impact.
I’m proud to be on the board of trustees for Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw which i s a charity providing grant funding to children and young people to help them achieve their dreams and provide them with valuable opportunities in life.
I absolutely love my job and I can’t wait to meet you!
