Jacqui - Therapist
Hi, I’m Jacqui, married mum of one amazing son, a crazy chocolate labrador and two charming bunnies.
I am very excited to be a part of the team at Absoluteness and look forward to supporting you. My role within the business is supporting young people, adults and corporate clients. I have experience as a mental health first aider in the work place and my ‘real’, down to earth approach lends itself well this kind of work.
I have also recently completed a training course in Pet Bereavement which is something new for Absoluteness. We are now able to offer support following the loss of your beloved pet, recognising just how devastating this can be.
My journal into counselling began after experiencing my own personal grief. I found after experiencing a significant loss, being able to explore my feelings and talking about them, made me realise that I wanted to help others through their own struggles and give them their own opportunities to tell their stories and to not walk alone.
I qualified in 2023 and work in an Integrative way, this means I combine different therapeutic approaches to tailor a unique treatment plan for each individual, acknowledging that a one-size fits approach is not effective for everyone.
I’m very passionate about empowering and supporting people to change their lives and help them to learn the tools to help them in their journeys, helping them to understand day to day stumbles.
I am very proud of my qualifications, knowledge and experience gained from volunteering with several mental health charities, building up my professional development.
I have supported a number of young people on behalf of CASY counselling and I very much look forward to working with you..
