The KindMind Community Programme
The KindMind Fund exists for one simple reason: cost should never be the thing that stops someone getting support.
We know what the reality looks like for many people. They’re struggling, they’re doing their best to cope, and they’re often told they must wait — sometimes for months — before they can access the right help. For someone dealing with anxiety, low mood, grief, trauma, burnout, or a situation that’s slowly unravelling at home, that wait can feel unbearable.
KindMind - You can be the Change
The KindMind Fund is an initiative created by Absoluteness to provide financial assistance for counselling to people who are unable to afford private therapy. It is a pay-it-forward model built on community kindness — supported by generous individuals and local businesses who want to make a real, practical difference.
These sessions are offered at a reduced rate, meaning no profit is made from kindness. The purpose isn’t to generate revenue — it’s to remove a barrier and give someone a chance to breathe, steady themselves, and find a way forward.
Why it matters
When you’re already overwhelmed, financial pressure can make everything feel worse. And when someone can’t access support quickly, problems often grow: stress turns into burnout, anxiety becomes avoidance, grief becomes isolation, and families quietly struggle behind closed doors.
The KindMind Fund is about early intervention and hope — stepping in sooner, not later. It’s about helping people before they reach breaking point.
What support can provide
A contribution to the KindMind Fund has a direct and tangible impact.
£300 can provide a course of six counselling sessions for someone who may otherwise go without support.
Six sessions can mean:
* a safe, confidential space to finally talk honestly
* practical coping tools for anxiety, overwhelm, or low mood
* improved sleep, steadier emotions, and reduced panic
* clearer thinking and better decision-making
* healthier relationships at home and at work
* renewed confidence, hope, and direction
Sometimes, six sessions are enough to help someone “get back on their feet.” Sometimes, they’re the bridge that stops things sliding into crisis. Either way, it can be life-changing.
How people access KindMind Fund support
We keep the process simple, respectful, and discreet.
People who need support can reach out to us, and we’ll talk through:
* What’s going on for them
* What kind of support they’re looking for
* What feels manageable financially
We then use KindMind funding (where available) to offer a reduced-cost block of sessions. Support remains person-centred, tailored, and delivered with the same care as any other Absoluteness service.
Importantly: confidentiality is always protected. If a business sponsors sessions, they are not given personal client details or therapy information. The support is for the person — safe, private, and focused on wellbeing.
For businesses: this is community impact you can feel proud of
If you’re a local business, partnering with the KindMind Fund is a meaningful way to support the community you serve. It’s not vague “awareness” — it’s direct help, with real sessions, for real people.
By collaborating with brilliant businesses like yours, we can:
* Reduce waiting and delay for people in need
* Strengthen local wellbeing and resilience
* Provide hope for brighter days ahead
Together, we can be the change.
